Birth Year Rolex Ideas - 1993?

Any cool references from that year I should look out for? Was thinking of a GMT Coke. I want SS

16710 or 16610 would be your best bet.

16710 is a great option. That was my first Rolex (Coke bezel also).

16610 sub is the obvious choice. I’d probably go for a 16710 - lets you collect the different bezels for it for a change if you don’t want to buy another for a while.

16570 polar is a good value choice as well - prices have come right down and lovely watches. Bit different from the crowd.

Well any of the 16710 range is fine the 16710 is a very versatile watch get all 3 inserts for very little money. Then 3 different watches for the price of one,but getting a birth year as all internet charts regarding the serial is only a approx date when the case was stamped and not always means when it was made.

First choice. 16570 polar

Great backups: 16710, 16610, 14060.

Personally a huge fan of the 80s to early 90s stuff because of how nicely they patina, so lots of nice choices. But a “chi chi” polar would be my top.

(Not my pic but now that I type this out, I really need to get one)

14270 - my preference
16570 polar also nice
16700 > 16710 if a GMT is what you’re after but no coke in 16700

I have an A-K 14000. Kool little watch. It is the first Rolex I purchased. The serial says 1993. Had it serviced (3000 caliber) and runs awesome. I really don't wear too much because after wearing a bigger watch it is tough for me to go back to smaller one. Pretty much a back up.
