Brett Favre a MINNESOTA VIKING

It's official! What do you think!

I'm delighted.

Doesn't matter as long as Childress is still there.

What do I think? I think 10 to 12 million. I wish he would go away but can't blame him for taking the money.

I think I'd like to miss three weeks of training camp and just play football too.

He just pulled the " I will retire, I have been sacked too many times." crap to avoid camp.

What a freakin panty. He was always planning on joing the Vikes.

I am glad he's back though just to watch the Vikes-Packers game this year. Should be interesting. Will it be at Lambaeu? Even more fun!

We always play the cheese heads twice since we are in the same division. I loved hating the Packers and this is icing on the cake to stab them in the heart with Farve. Will it make us a better team? Maybe. Sell tickets? Definitely!

I think that it is actually a little sad that the Vikings need Favre. Their other QB's are just sooooo bad. My issue with current day Favre is he can have a really good game and throw a late 4th qtr pick and lose the game. I think they will be a 8 or 9 win team which in the NFC may be a playoff team. Chicago will win the North and the Packers should be the second best team.

No longer a football fan so I don't really care. My goal this year is not to see a single game. Not even the Super Bowl.

I never thought about that and it was pretty smart on Favre's part to miss camp.

He should have stayed retired. . . the FIRST time around. And the only reason he signed now was to miss training camp. He probably thinks he has already put in his dues and training camp is now optional at his age.

Well said, David! I'll bet the Vikes make all 12 million bucks back by the end of the week in ticket sales and merchandise. I just ordered three #4 jerseys and pick 'em up in time for the game Friday night.

GO VIKES!

Basically Brett retiring is a big joke and something he does at least once per year now. I admire and respect him for the Hall of Famer he is but I think he should of stayed retired. There's something to be said about retiring at the top of your game!!!

I've had enough of him.

Personally, I think he has mental issues about aging or likes to be a drama queen. When he revealed that in the course of repairing the bicep they discovered a torn rotator cuff (partial), I couldn't help but wonder what is he thinking. Great plan I guess, stress that until it fails and undergo the operation it takes years to recover from.

I predict he's on the sidelines by December due to some injury. Of course, it was always his reputation to ruin and his business. For right or wrong, the first thing I'll remember though is this clownish behavior.

If the Viking fans are excited, well I'm happy for them too.
