This thread really seems to draw on a lot of emotionalism and I can't help but wonder if it isn't doing more harm than good, by allowing a wound to remain open? I'm honestly not sure.

Faith, no offence meant, but you are beginning to spring to my mind images of this lady "Millie-Tant" from British adult comic Viz. Relax a little

As is clear from my avatar, I am not British and have no idea to whom or what you may be referring. I am not interested in "relaxing a little," perhaps you need to be a bit more understanding.

And I'm not "interested" in your constant whining.

Perhaps this thread needs to be closed, if it is doing more harm than good.

You make a lot of definitive statements.

I assume that you have all of the information at hand as to what exactly happened in the situation described by James and Steve because if you didn't the above statment would come across as rather ill judged.

I would just like you to know that as somebody that was involved in the entire altercation, I do have complete knowledge of what occured and who said what!

I've remained quiet for the good of the forum.

Perhaps you should follow my lead?

Adult, Gentlemen, Man...............different words,, different meanings, you can be one without the other.

We should be aware that women and men express and vent their frustrations in different ways and I thank G-d, we vent differently.

A man might ask another man outside to "whip some rear-end". Men assume violent postures much easier than a woman will. Sure there will be a "Mahatma Ghandi" here and there, but I am speaking in general terms.

VERSUS

A woman might call her friends and talk for hours on the phone, expressing her displeasure. Women are vocal.

The world is a much better place because of women.

Dear Jimbits:

Thanks for your post. I assumed the information shared by LOL-X was true (and I still do) and I quote:

I have extracted and reposted for your consideration JIMBITS:

On August 20, 2009, LOL-X wrote (in part - an extract on page 9):

I tried to broker a reconciliation but that didn't happen, because someone was not prepared to forgive and forget. All I asked was an agreement to be friendly, but that was not returned with a favorable reply. I did not take any sides, but tried to procure a reconciliation.
*************END OF EXTRACT*******************

KEY WORDS broker a reconciliation / all i asked was an agreement to be friendly / tried to procure a reconciliation

But, you could have spared me my conclusion, by sharing your inside knowledge, thus not allowing mortals such as myself to reach a flawed account of the events. If either participant were offended by my flawed conclusion, then I apologize to them and same to you, I did not know of your first hand knowledge.

Dark Knight, why not let the subject be dropped and go by the wayside. You are not going to get the specifics because the matter has passed. So let it be and move on!!!

Fair enough mortal.

Yet you seem to have judiciously omitted James' extract concerning the very public attack from one of the parties to the other in the separate thread. With such an attack being made, would you really expect a reconcilliation?

You have also made up your mind on the public evidence and statement of one of the parties involved at the higher level?

Why?

Wouldn't it be best for all of us to just stay out of matters which don't concern us and try to move on for the sake of the general membership and the forum as a whole?
