First; I should like to apologize for bumping this oft-hashed topic (a reply by a forum member informed me how to do a better search, so thanks).

Second; I had no idea a simple gesture could be even remotely contentious. Either do or don't do; your choice.

Third; I did drop into the AD the day after picking up my new DJ41, dropping off two boxes of good chocolates and a card for both the SA and with the option for him to share with the entire staff, as everyone there treated me with such grace even when the SA was not present.
