Just got my GMT last week. Got my white tag as always, it tells the specific version of the watch from the original purchase. 126710-0002 to specify the bracelet. You should be able to have it, you bought it. Sounds to me like an AD decision to try to prevent flippers.

I would kick up a storm if I were you. The white tag is very important part of the documentation of these fancy dial watches. I've had white tags with every watch that I've ever bought from my AD. As I mentioned, they are particularly important where the dial makes the watch rare.
Case in point my JM Yellow gold Daytona. The white tag is a must, almost as important as the Rolex card in these cases. |
