Fake 1680 Red Sub Dial
learning from our esteemed and knowledgeable buddy Orchi here.

As the listing reads it was redialed, you bring out a very good point, not discussed in the lisiting...
that the red was most likely added! Excellent attention to detail! |

Agreed Michael..... likely a white 1680 dial repainted red.
I think this is pushing the envelope of his 'professionally refinished' cover ..... to the can IMO. |

this seller has disclosed it as a repaint, BUT professional
done>>>NOT. there is nothing thats EVEN CLOSE on this dial that right besides the red and white paint! and willing to bet that the dial has never seen the inside of a 1680 case or touch a 1570 movement |

Looks like an attempt to cash in on the vintage market to me, and all it would take is an uneducated buyer to go nutz bidding and this could fetch a hefty price, not on my shift, excellent research guys, this needs to go
