Worn Out Oyster Bracelet in 116610LN?

Hi folks,

I recently (about 2 months ago) picked up my watch from my AD after a movement-related issue, which was covered by the warranty.

My watch was in need of a polishing and the bezel pearl was cracked, so I asked the AD to get that sorted. As expected, those two things weren't covered by the warranty.

Fast forward to today and I noticed that one link of the bracelet is worn out in the back (see pictures). I've noticed something similar on vintage pieces in the back of the lugs, usually due to the endlinks.

Seeing that on a bracelet link is a first for me, let alone in a 2019 Submariner. Any ideas what it could be? Perhaps the RSC did a lousy job with polishing?

Cheers,
