My AD’s Offer: Pink Tudor or Rolex Daytona
My AD called me this morning and presented an interesting choice. They received a new pink Tudor Chrono that everyone is crazy about, and I also inquired about it on several occasions.
He offered me a choice: I could either take the pink Tudor or wait for the next Rolex Daytona stainless steel that arrives in the shop, regardless of whether it has a white or black dial—it would be mine. After some quick thinking, I decided to go with the Daytona option, which makes more sense to me. What do you guys think? Also, what are your thoughts on the pink Tudor in general? |

In a perfect world, where my vision is just as perfect, I’d have chosen the Daytona… As for the pink Tudor, I’m far too boring to try pull that one off… Kudos to those that do, but it’s just not for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree you made the right call. I would love to get my hands on one of those pink Tudors, though.

The watch you like more is the right answer.
The generally acceptable answer across various motivations is Daytona. Some may consider that a "no brainer." |

Daytona is a far superior watch. Pink Tudor is cool but hype will die down eventually as more become available

I think you should go with the tudor for even contemplating this.

I'd go for the one that I wanted. As we are all different that will change from person to person on here so not sure what good it will do asking.

Since the oddness was mentioned, I feel the AD's offer - Tudor vs the hardest obtainable Rolex model (sans special models) - is as odd as the question of which one to choose.

In a years time the Pink Tudor will be trading unders in secondary, readily available at RRP in ADs, possibly even at a modest discount new from ADs.

That is about the easiest question you could be asked. Daytona.
These pink Tudors will be available everywhere in the next year. Like every Tudor is.

If you're looking for a "pink" chrono, go get the Zenith Chrono October edition. Hands down the best "pink" dial ever.
That will be my next purchase. I am just waiting to pull the trigger. |

No brainer. You made the right choice.
That Tudor is a fun watch and some may disagree but it's not any competition when put up against the Daytona Daytona. |
