There are way more yg than rose gold day dates out there so simple supply and demand tell me that the rose gold holds up better.

I am wrestling with that question now....but my AD doesn't have an RG president to try on....so I am hesitant to buy the RG online without trying it on...but it certainly looks impressive in the photos. He has a Celini and some other minor RG models to look at but I wonder how that bigass honking RG President would look on my wrist !....oh, that white gold looks striking too, Joelmor.

RG is quite nice, depending on the dial, but YG is a nice classic look.

Then again, WG is nice, too....

I do not think you can go wrong in purchasing any of the Day Date-II gold options. I personally would go for the rose gold because you do not see it very often!!!

I'd say it depends on your skin tone. I have fairly pale skin, so I'm all about the rose gold.

i say younger because gold is generaly worn by the older/more mature then a younger sporty stainless steel. Rose gold is a young persons gold imo

Yes it does
Fewer buyers out there for ever rose, especially for preowned.
Although more expensive to buy new, the second hand trade
will not "honor" the watch with it's true worth.

But hey there is a Day-Date much worst for loss of value...see
the Rolex "white elephant" 18239 BIC President TRIDOR.

I remember once I had a ladies Bic tridor, I was forced to sell
it as a two-tone in order to get rid of it...

All very interesting input, thank you....and I suspect that TempoKing is correctamundo, because I have seen some RG watches sit for quite a while, but that is not conclusive overall...but I do like RG myself, and I think it is more popular with younger buyers.

Is this case also true for a pre-owned Everose Gold Daytona?

I'd have to agree with you there. Yellow gold is a major no-no for me, but rose gold I could get used to :P

I like VC rose gold over Rolex. To me the RG Rolex uses is just "off."

I had supposed so - who buys pre-loved, will want a "classic" Gold.

I have to admit, as much as I like understatement, which would mean WG, I love the warmth and colour of GOLD!

( YG )

I would LOVE to have one of those Tridor!

Anastasios, do you have a pic?

Greetings, Hermann
