Thank you! It’s my favorite watch in the entire Rolex lineup and now I have a brand new registered in my name. I’m thrilled! And learned a lesson or two today along the way!

Thanks Kat! Much appreciated. And how can one not contain their excitement when getting sized for a beautiful new Rolex! Sizing is easy on me, 197mm wrist, just take off the tags and put that puppy on!

Bravo, you did the right thing, good AD’s are hard to find and building the relationship is very important. Enjoy your watch that was for you. Enjoy…. Congrats..

We win some, we loose some?

I’m glad it worked out.

Cheers,

Congratulations on the new watch and for handling a tough situation well.

It's good to see how you managed to stand out with the AD. I guess it’s part of the game to get the watches we want, but it's also great to see someone enjoying their new purchase and not just chasing up.

I got a text yesterday about the CHNR coming in next week or the week after, so I am hoping to join the club myself very soon

In this case I would either buy it and offer to a friend at MSRP + tax (I’ve done that many times)

Or, I would tell the AD that I got one because I didn’t feel like Waiting.

I think the days of not wanting to offend the AD and tip toeing around them are over.

You are going to love this stunner! Excited for you. My wife said it's the best watch in my collection. That's a heck of an endorsement!

There is truth to that.

I'll offer the one I got from the TD to anyone here for MSRP + Tax. PM me.

Here's the new one in the wild, and I also sent the pic to the AD. They replied immediately! I'm

I suspect they are dumb, but alas, not as dumb as their customers.

Thank you, I'm looking forward to picking it up. And funny enough, my wife says the same thing, and neither of us normally go for TT version.

Great picture.Wear it in good health

You made the right call.

Nothing beats the piece of mind of owning direct from the AD. You know for certain that the movement had not been switched out with a super clone movement or that links have not been switched with aftermarket links, etc.
