On that topic… would an AD sell a Sub bracelet for a GMT? If one prefers the Sub bracelet for the glidelock and brushed cl vs pcl…

Not in my experience. However, in the UK the RSC would supply a new bracelet for a Sub/Sub Date if it was sent in without its original bracelet. The first Glidelock was fitted to the 11 series, this bracelet is no longer in production and has been superseded by a service bracelet with a different serial number.

I have an 116610. My plan was to put the bracelet on my 126710 and get a new bracelet for the Sub Date. I wore my 126710 for a month on the Sub bracelet and it just didn't work for me. It felt wrong. The clasp was weird. It's better on a Jubilee.

YMMV of course.

My 14060 sub went in for service 5 weeks ago. One of my options was getting bracelet repaired (really worn clasp, lots of stretch - not by me but original owner) - or new 93150 bracelet (for $1250). I went with new.

I was able to pull that off with an AD maybe 2 years ago. I have a 97200 glidelock on a 16710. It’s a great setup.

$1500-$1700 if they will sell you one? They might ask for the old one if damaged.
Rolex recently changed the rules on replacement parts, parts must match what the watch came with from the factory.
