Zenith Daytona 16519

AD has one in the CPO case. White gold, white mother of pearl. face on a light brown leather strap.

I want this watch, but he is asking $40,000, which I think is high. It is high or am I high and I should just pay that. LOL

I was thinking $34,000

What’s your opinion of this watch at whatever price? It is the Zentih movement, I don’t see a lot of these anywhere, ever.

18-23k USD is more realistic for a WG/YG on leather Daytona IMO

Yes, of course I do.
One could always pay more if they want to.

I never was a fan of the reference and the leather strap was a no go for me. Some people really like the Zenith movements in the Daytona, I owned several before, but the premium charged is not worth it to me. If I was to choose a watch from this era it would be on a bracelet, complete. The price asked by the AD in the CPO program is too high. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

These didn't come on a bracelet. The OEM is a leather strap.
I'm pulling the trigger. I got him down a few thousand.
It's a CPO from an AD, not eBay and it has a 2 year warranty from Rolex.
It's worth it to me to pay a bit more and not wire money to someone I don't know.

This reference has the Arabic numerals and yes, I can but it for a bit less but not nearly as cheaply as those eBay listings.

I have a WG 116519 with meteorite dial that was mid upper 30’s. Full set mint. Also have a 116518 YG w PN dial full set mint that was upper 20’s. There is a wide range in pricing for each model. Mine were sourced from trusted sellers. The Daytona on leather is. Great watch. Enjoy your watch.can’t imagine buying that piece from ebay or Chrono 24.

A "bit" more? You're overpaying by nearly $15k!

Well, I will also get the pretty antique wooden box opened in the private room, so I'll see what else he has that isn't otherwise available.

The watch has also been serviced by Rolex to restore it to new ($5800 paid by the AD)
Box and papers and 2 year Rolex warranty.

Whoa! What was done to restore it? If they replaced the dial or hands, then they DEvalued it, not improved it.

OEM parts from the Rolex factory. Not the dial or the hands.
