Blue SkyDweller vs Blue Datejust 41
Pretty simple poll. Can only get one, which one for pure aesethics? The gmt isn't important to me other than the looks. this will be work with a blue suit. Which one is better looking. I don't have a huge wrist. I usually prefer simple and clean dials, like a ND sub, however the centered ring does add something nice to the SD look. Sonlrice snd function aside, which is better looking?

Skydweller, if you want to go casual, go OP41 blue.

I would buy a 36mm DJ over a Sky Dweller if you want something dressy and more inconscpicuous. The SkyD is VERY bling due to its size and the aggressive and deep angling of its fluted bezel.

Both are amazing watches. Aesthetically, the Sky-D looks better imo but of course it’s a larger case and much thicker as well.
The Sky-D is also Rolex’s most complicated and interesting movement with the GMT and annual calendar. What’s your wrist size? |

Try them both on, one will sing to you straight way. You must know what you like and what you are used to wearing?
Although in pictures they are very similar they aren’t when on the wrist. Skydweller is a chunky beast and a true 42mm, looks very expensive and has the useful extra features. DJ isn’t a 41 and I am sure I read someone measuring it at 39.something. This shows when it’s on the wrist and it is much smaller, dressier, neater and daintier. Other points which will impact your decision will be availability and price. Skydweller is very difficult to get allocated new and way over list for a used, DJ 41 easy to get new and depending on the exact configuration could be under list used. |

Love both, but sky-dweller is special, especially in blue.

Skydweller for me. Looks alone wins but also prefer the case size and function.

It depends on your wrist size and your tolerance to pay over retail for a Blue Sky-Dweller. The easy answer is go with the classic DJ with the blue stick dial on jubilee with a fluted bezel. I own the Blue Sky-Dweller and while I like it, I prefer the black or white dial more, I get the flex. The question is, is the squeeze worth the juice? For me, not.

Skydweller in blue or green on SS. Most complex watch movement they’ve ever made.

I thought it odd at the time that you had started a thread, had lots of useful posts from all the forum members trying to help you, giving both viewpoints, yet you never posted on the thread again. This week you have a fairly similar dilemma. Are you ok? |

I don’t tend do the old forum stalking, but I have to say the OP does exhibit a rather odd posting profile.
Loads and load of these one vs the other polls, sometimes debating whether to purchase a Pepsi, sometimes saying he already has one and is considering something else. Most of the time never revisits after starting the thread, so we are all talking amongst ourselves. I know we are all strange in our own ways, but………. |

Maybe the op needs to change the colour of his suit that would open up more possibilities |
