Not really old but I wish Rolex redesigns the new Exp2 again but into the last gen 40mm case.

I'd would sell my sub for it in a heartbeat.

This would be the one I’ll go gray for. Very close to getting this version from Artisans De Geneva.

I would love to see a DJ (36 or 41) in PM with a leather strap and PM deployant buckle.

My 116139 is one of my favorite watches...

I'm curious why so many want to see an Oysterquartz. I remember when I got my first Rolex in 1984/1985, the OQ was in the catalog. I didn't know all that much about Rolex but felt they were known for their mechanical watches, so I ruled out the OQ. I still think they are the least desirable Rolexes in the back catalog.

Of course now I wish I had gotten a Daytona instead of a DJ, but I sure wore the heck out of the DJ until getting my Daytona.

Was this watch ever available to buy from an AD or was this specification only available if issued by the military?

In fairness even Rolex has been confused about if the yachtmaster were a sport model.

Notice the difference in hands

Is this an actual model that Rolex used to sell or is it a clever photoshop trick?

King Midas, but a little more modern. Rolex should really hop back in on the integrated bracelet trend!

After I read your thread title, OP, & before I clicked on the link, this was the watch I thought of!

I do not know, sorry. Actually, pretty positive it was never sold at regular shops. I believe it was issued and maybe would have been available to order through military PX, though not sure about that last part. Regular models were but MilSub may have been an issued only type of thing.
