This………a soft buff and it’s out, sure probably not ideal but why sweat on the small things.

no way paying full price for a "defected" watch.
I will make those scratches myself, but not from the "factory" |

Would you really consider it a new watch or a used one. If it was an exhibition piece I would say it is a used watch and that is what you are buying.

Some of us remember that when you bought a watch it generally was in the case and had likely been tried on by others. Never looked for tiny “scratches” but imagine they were there. But things have changed - I never thought of taking my watch off before sitting at a table either.
Careless I guess. |

Just lol at you using the opportunity to brag about "always getting a 10% discount" despite it being irrelevant to this context that the OP is in.

Update #2
Going to be honest here. Really regret not buying the watch and having them polish it. I live in California and the tax savings alone from buying this in Hawaii (where AD was located) would have paid for a brand new link.
Filled my home AD in on the situation and she said OPs are actually really hard to come by given not a ton are made and people want them. She actually told me I should have bought it… oh well! |

I can't imagine it's too late? Can you make a call? Shipping costs can't be too much.

Watch was offered to me 6 days ago. Told them no the following day. The next day I asked if the watch was still available and it was sold to another customer. No rolex is sitting in the shelves unless it’s a less desirable model. |

Also… apparently it’s normal for new watches to have some scratches? Seems like common practice with ADs is to sell the exhibition models once they’re allowed to. Obviously watches straight from the coffin get sold but not all the time. Really think the ADs should sticker the entire watch if they’re going to let hundreds of people try them on…

What would bother me more than the scratch is a bad retail experience. Are they offering you a display model as a new watch? Personally, I would skip it on principles alone, but it’s your money so you decide.
