Milgauss bracelet question

Has anyone experienced a too easily opened bracelet clasp (new style) on their Millie or similar? The clasp snaps closed with authority but seems to open far too easily. Has anyone had this issue adjusted or know if it is possible to adjust?

Thanks

For me the clasp holds very well but is easy to un-do.

No problems here either. You should be able to get it adjusted. Good luck.

When I had my Milly it didn't do this, but my Sub pops open a little to easily for my taste. YM is just right, but my old YM was hard as hell to open. Pretty inconsistent amond different models now that you mention it. I'd have it looked into if I was you, especially before venturing into open water or anything. Seems like they'd be able to adjust the clasp to your liking, within reason.

I think they got the tension right on the clasp. It's never popped inadvertently on me.

I don't have a problem with mine opening when wearing it.
Hope you can get that fix.

it is much easier to open compared to the sub bracelet. But haven't had an issue with GV bracelet yet.

I've not had a problem with the clasp myself.

How can we adjust it? Because mine snaps shut tightly but opens easily with the flick of a nail..

Wish it would stay locked down tighter and not open up as easily.

It doesn't take much effort to open mine if I want to open it, but I have never had it open accidentally - despite any physical activity (yard work, dog training etc.).

I think the clasp is designed to be lifted easily by using your fingernail but it should stay firmly in place otherwise.

Thanks to all who responded. I will check with my AD tomorrow regarding an adjustment.
A Rolex dealer once schooled me on how to make a sub bracelet more secure by gently bending the clasp and fliplock in key areas. Worked great for me. But on the newer style clasp these tricks won't work. Would hate to lose such a watch as my Millie as the clasp has already popped open once. Update to come.

My Millie clasp is very solid. I have never had any problems with mine! I think it should be looked at for adjustment too at your AD. Maybe something is not adjusted/lined up correctly, it's too tight on your arm, too many links on one side/clasp in a bad spot......... it could be a number of things.

I agree with others. The design is such that it could get snagged or vigourously shaken and come undone. Just don't wear it playing Golf (or hockey in my case)
