Stopped at my AD today…
They had several display pieces to show. Nothing for sale. I let them know I wanted a Datejust 41. Two tone yellow gold with the white dial. Are these hard to attain?

No, not hard to get, 3 months or less with the right AD, The DJ model is the only Rolex model that the AD can order from Rolex. They can order a few every month.
The hard to get dials are the Green, Wimbledon and Blue with fluted bezel on jubilee. Those you can order but you will wait a long while to receive it. Ask to order? And how long? Cheers , |

Was shown one last year without asking, available for purchase. Beautiful reference, but I wanted something else at the time. TT DJs are probably among the easiest pieces to get.

I would think it should not be too too long. DJ seem to be the ones that are more readily available.

I asked for a 36mm Wimbledon with fluted bevel on jubilee last year. Got told expect up to two years. Got the call in April, so approx 8 months wait. I wasn’t around to take it. They called me again in July saying they’d got another. I have declined as I didn’t actually like it enough in the metal. I am not certain if it’s the same watch that I couldn’t take back in April Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know the dial color and two tone isn’t that popular. To me the it’s classic and timeless.

TT DJs are very easy to get. It would take 1-3 months maximum, but sometimes they have models in stock also. I got mine in about a few weeks.

This is the first time requesting the two/tone Dj41. I’ve been on a list for 2 years for a Batman.

Truthfully no. Not until recently anyway. I had no idea how the registry worked.
