Is there a warranty card? Does the serial number match?

looks like a 15200 34mm datejust maybe 1990s, fairly well polished, decent stretch on the bracelet.

but can't see anything obviously fake without opening it up.

she will love it!

the only thing that concerns me is this is a "holes case" I thought that dial variant only came out with the "no holes case" and the Buckley dial variant was more common with the earlier ones.

Why did you buy it if you have questions about its authenticity?

It’s a bit late to be wondering about authenticity

Ladies and gentleman I bought from a reputable jeweler in my area. Looks real, feels real. I’ve had multiple Rolex. Just nice to be reassured since it did not come with papers, is that not fair enough? lol…

Buti guess if it were obvious to be fake, I would have had this thread swarmed screaming it’s fake instead of people asking me why I bought it if I thought it was fake! lol... I guess I can rest assured it’s not a fake then if there are no tells. Thanks regardless

Go to an AD that buys used watches and see what they offer you. If they don't make an offer it's fake. Cheap way to authenticate.

Bring it to a reputable jeweler to remove the caseback and look at the movement

I’d recommend you ask before you buy, but that’s water under the bridge now…

That looks legit! A little over polished but nothing to indicate that it is a counterfeit. Congrats to wife!

I'd say the good news is that that watch is from an era where the fakes were much, much more obvious. Hard to say whether it's all-original in terms of dial, movement parts, etc but nothing obviously aftermarket the way there often is when jeweled bezels/dials are involved.

As long as it has a genuine cal. 3135 ticking away inside, this one's all good.
