Got Some New Shoes for my baby...

Fun day yesterday, visiting the fine folks at Davis Jewelers in Louisville. (KY)

Picked up this fabric strap for my Ranger, and just absolutely love it. It's now a triple threat, as I have the bracelet, hybrid strap, and now fabric.

And of course, no visit would be complete without handling/trying on some watches. I didn't think to get pics (sorry) but here's some impressions:

BB58 Coke. Very nice; beautiful watch and looks good on the wrist.

BBRed bezel on 5-link. Wow, was this ever stunning. I'd read some of you guys talking about the slimmer case and what not, and I admit, I was skeptical (LOL), but I have to say, it's VERY noticeable in the flesh. They also had a black in the back, but I told them I didn't even want to see it, lest I be tempted. (Funds are limited right now as I just put in a new HVAC system. Ouch.)

They also had the opaline GMT and both blue and black FXD's, but I didn't try them on. Great looking watches, though.

I think my favorite of the day was the 40mm EXP, however. I was blown away at how good this looked, both on and off the wrist. I politely reminded my SA I've been very patiently waiting my turn as I registered interest on this one right after its release.
