116710LN bezel fit 126710BLRO?

All:

Are the bezels the same except the colour? I want a GMT with a black bezel. But Rolex stopped making the 116710LN in 2019. I also don’t like the green GMT script. So I figured I would buy a Pepsi and swap the bezel. I realize the bezel is going to cost me over $1k and I might have to wait a couple of years for my AD to sell me one but I am ok waiting.

Thanks in advance.

Paul.

I don’t think this is possible.

People have asked same question but in reverse…..can a Pepsi bezel be fitted to and LN or a BLNR for example and I’m certain the answer came back as a no.

Don’t quote me and I’m sure someone more knowledgable will chime in soon.

Not possible since the bezel is slightly different on the BLRO.
Maybe it would fit in the 116710BLNR, but then you have a blue GMT hand.

Thanks for your response. How about keeping the steel part and swapping the ceramic insert?

I wouldn't mess with the ceramic inserts. When they are compromised from their native position (wiggling out of the metal holder) they are known to either form hairline cracks or in the worst-case scenario, they just break into multiple pieces. They are good to go in the bezel holder; just don't pop them out.

The BLRO bezel is unique, it has a slightly different thicker rim than LN/BLNR/GRNR.
I doubt a ceramic LN bezel insert will fit inside the steel BLRO bezel but you may have more sucess with a complete LN bezel assembly (steel and ceramic parts), that may work.

By the time the AD delivers there will probably be a dozen new GMT colors to choose from.
