Are there any good non-ad watch stores in the area?

Alan Furman (in Rockville, MD) has a good reputation and has been in business for 30+ years. Web site doesn't list stock (except for a very small number of used watches); you need to call or visit in person. I didn't buy from them as they did not have the exact watch I was looking for, but very nice, helpful, and friendly.

Little Treasury in Gambrills/Crofton isn't a Rolex AD (they do Omega, GS, Bremont and some others) and is really a great shop. All of the watch staff are just as happy to talk watches and show you cool ones as sell you anything. Stop in Fat Boys crab shack on your way home to make the trip toward the shore complete.
