Bobs Watches

Why are they not a trusted seller on here?

Why do the photos show the inside of each watch? Doesn’t that void the warranty? Does that answer the above question?

Why do they have so much inventory?

They felt no need to sponsor this forum?

They open the watch because it's the only way to prove authenticity?

They are pretty big so have lots of inventory.

Ahhh, I’m a noobwhale. I thought the sellers below are there because they’re trusted, not because they pony up cash to be there.

Yes, they are both. Trusted and Sponsors. The two are mutually compatible. Symbiotic relationships and all that stuff.

Bob’s watches seem to be reputable. I don’t recall ever reading anything bad about them. However, I am not the oracle of used watch dealers.

I ask the same about a multi-decade, highly-respected Albert and Joshua at the European Watch Company in Boston.

Because their "excellent" condition is highly polished, no tags, no box, no warranty card. I've tried them 3 times and returned every one.

I think Adam gave the most succinct reason for Bob's Watches not being a trusted seller.

Trust is earned, not "bought"

All sellers on TRF must be a pledge member - it's a TRF policy.

You can use the search function to read over a decade's worth of TRFers experiences with that seller.

They go with the business model which apparently has worked very well for them.

True, Albert should consider sponsoring trf.
