Crazy Horse strap
I had ordered this Crazy Horse strap from Greg Stevens 2 weeks ago.
This was my first Paypal purchase, everything went fine, after the delay in setting up my account. It arrived thursday night. The first night, I was a bit unsure of the thickness of the strap & how the buckle lay on the strap. But after a days wearing , it was broken in great Extremely comfortable strap. I went with a 80mm x 125 mm. Next one might be the darker brown and go a bit shorter. I don't think the OEM strap will be back on for quite a while now

Excellent strap on an excellent timepiece, John. Congrats!!!
I have used eBay with total success for many years now, including all three of my perfectly marvelous Rollies. Good job on this one for sure!

One of my favorite straps that only gets better ad better with time mate!! Looks super on the Fiver, but can you imagine how great that would look on a BASE Logo?

Bloody 'ell - that's the John Holmes of straps!
Really nice and I've only heard good things about Greg's CH straps. How are you doing with straps for your 98, John? It's one of my all-time favourite Panerai. The OEM gator looks great but can/have you bought 3rd party straps for the Radiomir? |

I have not bought any other straps for the 98 yet.
I might try this CH on it later. Will post some pics if I do. While in TO, the AD had a Base Logo in stock. I had to pass on it, but I still have mine on order with my local. My wife really likes the CH also. I might just end up ordering another CH ( not sure if I will go white or brown stiching). She has the 219, currently only has a dark brown gator. Greg also has a nice looking black with white stich that has caught my eye.

I just sent Greg an email, thanking him for the quick delivery of his strap & mentioned about TRF.
He asked about the forum & I invited him to come & check us out.

Nice strap John. Can you wear a long sleeve shirt with it seeing how thick it is?

The strap is 4 mm, so where the keeper is, it is close to 16 mm.
I only have a couple long sleeve shirts that even accomodate a Pan on a regualr strap. I did have a jacket on last night, that worked. Luckily I can wear SS Shirts to work.

Looks great John. NOthing but good things are said about the CH.
Not sure I like it on the 98, personally, though. To me that's more a gator-all-the-way type watch. It would look yummy on a black gator with white stitch, really dress it up purdy! |

I agree - I think the 98 looked better on the strap you had it on.....of course whatever makes you happy is what is important.

Greg's straps are Dynamite!!
Hey Launch,
The strap is a perfect match for the Fiver as well as your awaited Logo. I am not sure why I have yet to pull the trigger on 1, but it is something I should be doing very shortly. Mixed on the looks of the 98 with the CH..agree the OEM strap is a match made in heaven. (i have been dreaming about the PAM 98) ever since I was able to try yours on. Congrats on the strap! Carlo |
