Much prefer the new references...not just in this comparison, but across the Daytona line.

I think there's an argument for the older line besides lower cost:
- wears smaller - less blingy (the bezel ring adds a bit of this) - they don't have the "slab" case - dial characteristics (subdial spacing, lume markers) are different |

OF Daytona 11 and 12 series have the same case.

Old vs New Daytona Pikachu?
I’d be thrilled with either. But I’d probably pick the 12 if I had a choice.

Don’t be bothered with these comments. They tried acting “above” a silly nickname, by being a child. We have these idiots at work too. Voting 11 series. I like the bigger hour makers over new Ozempic version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would get the 11 on the grey marker as they are about 10k cheaper. The glide lock for me is a game changer, it’s not worth 10k though. Unless it was my only watch and I was to daily it as a one and done then I would get the new version no matter the cost. The glide lock should be on all Rolexes that have a clasp with an easy link. Whichever you can get your hands on first….that'd be my personal recommendation.
