I’m simply relaying what the salesperson at the Roswell location texted to me. “‘Hi, sorry I don’t have any available and you will have to reach out to another Authorized Jeweler because we will not have new Rolex starting January.” I’ve bought watches from the Roswell location, and have never had any issues with them. No worries, I’ve got other alternatives available to me.

It seems like more often than not, people are complaining about AD's snubbing buyers who aren't on a first name basis with the staff anyway. If they lose their status, they also lose this "back door" relationship with flippers, so I'm in the camp that believes maybe Rolex isn't to blame for the gray market charging 30% above MSRP. It wouldn't be in their language to prohibit overcharge if it weren't important to them, and concerned about brand image. Maybe the boutique plan is to have more control.
I know when I went to Chevy in 2020 to buy a 60k C8 Corvette, and they wanted 100K I walked out. This dealer lost me as a customer, it doesn't matter that they eventually sold it to someone else, it made me bitter towards Chevy and I still am! I hope Rolex is fixing the problem, I don't want to pay more for a product than the maker says it's worth, it's just WRONG Good riddance.. |

Per Rolex
GMT-Master II Oyster, 40 mm, Oystersteel Reference 126710BLRO $10,900 ..or you can pay double that on eBay. \that system is broken. I guess I should be happy with only a 30% markup |

Disappointing for sure. My Sub came from there, and been on a waitlist for Batman since beginning of year. Pretty sure that won't happen.
Oh well. Buckhead is not my favorite place. Mayors in Avalon is easier to get to. |

Just wanted to post a little update on this thread as I went by yesterday and got the details from my friend who is the manger. Rolex is just being moved to the Buckhead Village store and the Roswell location is going to be turning the display area into a Rolex service workshop.
