Thoughts on a PAM 673
Hello all. Long-time lurker, and I don't often post.
I am thinking of purchasing the aforementioned Panerai and I'm looking for good / bad from a current or previous owner. Many thanks in advance ! |

Great looking time piece ! I have 8 inch wrists and the 47mm wears large. I eventually settled for 45mm Panerai. I would lean towards purchasing the 673 as long as you are comfortable wearing that watch. Good luck!

Panerai's have always peaked my interest because of the simplistic yet bold styling. There is something about the design that seems so balanced. I was originally interested in a PAM00422 but when my advisor brought out this 673 I was hooked.
The dimensions are identical to the original run of the Luminor 1950 that displayed the "Marina Militare" in place of the "Luminor Marina." This is watch is one of the last special editions authorized by the great Angelo Bonati and is true to form. Utilizing the P.3000 movement it perfectly embodies Panerai. The advisor I had at Panerai was extremely knowledgeable and it was only after about an hour of talking before he brought out this watch; he really wanted this watch to go to someone who was excited about the brand and the history and I was honored to be able to walk away with this piece. It is safe to say that it will stay in the family for a long time. |

The 673 is a very nice 47mm PAM -- I have one. I was looking for the simpler 587 without the crown guard but missed out and the 673 was available. I late acquired the 587 and prefer it aesthetically. But the 673 is a beauty nonetheless. It's a classic as siliconblue said well.
