Icon10 I think I've been infected

by the Rolex bug..... I'm a newbie from Florida looking for some guidance. I've pretty much decided that I'd like to get a SS Datejust with Blue stick dial and would prefer the new Jubilee band. Local AD has a new one for about $4200 and there are quite a few on Fleabay.....but this one in particular caught my eye....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

So my questions are as follows:

Is Interwatches as reputable as they appear?
Does any see any issues with this Watch?
Should I be concerned buying a Rolex of this vintage?

And

Any other guidance you'd like to offer this newbie?

Thanks in advance for the help

Go Gators!!!!

Frank

Well the DJ is 36mm, as you probably know.
A vintage DJ is very nice. I like the 1601 model with the fluted bezel.
The model in your e-bay link is fine, but I would suggest you get a DJ with either the 1570/5 vintage movement or the modern 3135 movement.
It is always good to get the original Rolex paperwork with your watch.
You know there is a new DJ called the DateJustII which has just been released (quite expensive) but it is 41mm in size.

Good Luck and welcome

Welcome to TRF!

You might want to consider the reputable sellers on this forum. Quite a lot are from Florida.
