My wife knew enough about my interest in watches to buy me a couple great pieces over the years. Once I got into Rolex, though, she became really interested herself. She might spend more time on these forums than me! She really likes the Datejust and the Air King--if I had gotten one of those, I think she would've worn it part (most?) of the time. But I went with a Sub. I think she looks great wearing it--I'd like to see her wear it more!

PS sorry forgot to mention the greatest part....
When I proposed to my fiancee she told me the next day to pick out a watch she will buy me as an engagement present and gave me a price range. Smart girl knew I woulda been heartbroken if she just went into an AD, paid full price and picked something I just liked as this had to be one Id keep for life. I found a beautiful M White Exp II that was only a couple mths old in the budget she appointed and I will never part with it!

I gave my wife the TT DJ that I wore when we got married, for some reason she just uses it to tell the time, to be quite honest that's it, being shiney is a bonus for her, she knows it is a Rolex and that it was expensive but that's as far as it goes, I don't think that she even classes it as a piece of jewelry, at the end of most months she is intrigued by the fact that such an expensive watch cannot differentiate between the days in a month, I sometimes despair.

My wife is not into them at all and is happy with her one watch. Now diamonds, on the hand, are a different story!
