Guys.. Neeed heeelp pleeeeeease
i was at the rsc today and was asking to polish the case bec. i still see dings. while i was there the asked me where the last service? i told him it was outside the country and after looking through loope he told me thaat my watch lost its right proporion and he cant polish the case, he also noticed that there was something wrongin lugs. so please guys help me to confirm about this

From those pics, the lower right side of the case looks really over polished. That said, it can still be polished even though Rolex refuses to do it.

Of course yu can get it looks nice but then the case will lost some metal. IMO you don't
need a new case but you need a new camera.   Jocke

It looks like it is out of proportion, that said, if that does not bother you, there is no reason it could not be polished so it just would look better.

its like going to garage to check your breaks and the mach. tells you you need a new rotor or they can not do the work.
 do not worry about ding and so on, just service the inner parts when needed and enjoy the fine watch as is.

Oh yea , sorry for the poor quality pix. Actually its not a proffesional camera and iam not an expert in taking pix. So guys what do u really advice me to do?how can i fix this issue does it really must sold? Or i can get a new case?
And can i found the right case for that model..finally how much i would expect to get a new one(if there a chance to find a new case at rsc) thanks alot for your reply & will appretiate more advices. |

if i were you i will just trade it and get a pre owned like new condition..coz if u will change the case plus ull need a new bracelet,it will cost you a lot. Just trade it and get a nice pre owned one...

I agree with those here who've already said it's very overpolished. Unfortunately, the only way to get those scratches out at this point would be to overpolish it even more... I'd just wear it as is. It has character!

sorry but it is like a 20+ years old "over-used" and neglected car...it is just not possible to bring it to new condition...either you use it as it is or only recycling can help

change watch guys
You can polish anything. Unless you're looking for a like-new watch, just find someone else to polish it. A competent watch person or jeweler can do wonders. I would never buy a new case.
