What is average price for a SS Daytona Black Dial?

I was offered a new for 8,200 Euros and a used one for 6,200 Euros, does it sounds reasonable?

tks a lot in advance

116520's SS go new 9,925 usd V series... Older models I have seen from 9,000 and up in very good condition. 16520s SS go a little higher sometimes.
Lowest I have seen SS is 8,500 usd but I believe it was without papers.

From what I have seen, there is no price difference between white or black dials on the 116520.

I think thats priced high. I would contact DavidSW here on the forum first. I believe he can get you a brand new one for just a little more than a used one.

I would insist on Papers with a watch that costs as much as a Daytona. But that may just be me.

In America (USA) steel Daytonas are selling for less
Because
there is not high sales taxation involved
you see, when you sell from your state ie. Florida to
Maryland no one charges tax
in Europe (within the EU) someone has paid between 18% and 22% (Free education, Free medicare, Free housing, Free everything costs money)
VAT which is included in the price, rather than an add-on like here.

So if you ship it out of your state as I mentioned earlier, you pay no tax.

I would say that the European (net) new steel Daytona
price is less than here.
You were offered one for 8200 euro...lets see..
8200 euro less 20% (1640e) = 6560euro net ( or $9,700 dollars)

The hard part is how to get the VAT return..into your pocket
but that's another lesson in how to buy a Rolex on the cheap.....
