Thank you Wise Ones!
After "sweating the load" about anything bigger than 36mm, I went with my lovely wife to another AD today and they were AWESOME! We spent almost an hour looking at beautiful watches and they allowed me to take images of them (shhhhh). Here are my final choices:
I'm very much liking the GMT II - it's AWESOME! The Sub 18K/SS (Certi??) is nice, but not as BOLD as the GMT II - still a beautiful watch. The DJ may be too "quiet" for my tastes! What say everyone? this is FUN! They even offered to find me ones that were "previously loved"..now that's a nice AD. First picture is of my Kreiger. I'm just asking my youngest daughter, and she likes the "blue" and the "black" ones.
If you only ask me, I'd say that the GMT-IIc looks great on your wrist. I read your other thread on sizes, and you have to remember that the large majority of pictures shown on this site is done using cameras with wide angle lenses, and close ups. This makes the watch appear larger than what it is. Here's what my Explorer II white looks like using a wide angle extreme close up - the watch looks huge: And here it is using a normal lens, and this is also what I see when I look at my wrist, and when others look at my wrist: Also, darker dials gives the watch a smaller appearance than brighter dials: Now, go get yourself that S/G GMT-IIc! Best, A |

Yes, go with what YOU like......I am not a two tone type but I love the old TT Sub, as well as new and old TT GMT's
Get it, it looks better than any of the others you pictured no question.
