116520 , 116660 ..... 116710ln ?

Right , 48 hrs later still as obsessed with that 116710LN . It is NOT wearing off .
Over lunch I mentioned again to the wife that I really really like that 116710LN we saw on saturday whilst we actually went to the AD to have a look at a "dressed up watch " SS/WG DJII .
She asked me why another sport watch : So I came up with this :
To me there are 3 basic type Rolex sport watches to have being :
Daytona for land ( I have the SS white dial)
SDDS for sea ( I have )
GMT for air . ( I want it badly )
How does that sound ? Isn't that true ? the common man basic ROLEX sport collection , no ?
I'm now quietly hoping she will get me the DJII for Xmas meaning I will have a well balanced little collection : 2 white dial and 2 black dial .
She said ... you always have an answer ...

The question is how are you going to convince your wife that you "need" another watch.. If she is having seconds thoughts.. it is time to get another watch for her too..

Don't tell her anything. Just go buy it tell her it's your dressy watch when she asks. Tell her it coordinates well with your wardrobe because of the green GMT hand, and the shiny bezel.

I agree with everyone. You need the GMT IIC. I love mine.

I like your reasoning. How's this?
We take our 5th wheel RV to NM every summer.
NM is on daylight savings time and AZ isn't.
Our Dish in the trailer says on home time for the program listings.
"Honey, I need a GMT so I won't have to think back an hour to find Leno."
We Rolex lovers do whatever works!
