Rolex Books/Magazines
In an effort to take this hobby to the next level I'd like to learn more about timepieces. Mostly the history of the companies and the different watch models/movements.
Can anyone recommend good books or magazine subscriptions specific to Rolex and/or Patek Philippe? Good sources to find them would be helpful as well. |

Watchtime is the only magazine I will occasionally pick up and the only Rolex book I have left is Vintage Rolex Sport Watches, nice and think and full of pics and info.
Watchtime can usually be found at you local large chain book store.

You can pick up a copy of ROLEX SUBMARINER STORY by Franca and Guido Mondani.
Only about $500-600 in hardback. A bargain. ;-) |

This is probably the best single sourcebook for all things Rolex, including the company's history:-
