daytona V serial bracelet question
Does daytona V serial bracelet, the newest bracelet for V serial,
have the fine adjustment I can make? I mean I can make bracelet adjustment without removing a link. |

The new Daytona bracelet has the easy link quick adjustment and also a three position micro adjustment under the clasp.

But the micro adjustment is minimal......... you may still need to take out or add a link to any Rolex Bracelet if you have either small or over-sized wrists..

I had to add a link to mine....
Daytona seems to come for a very small wrist. Mike |

How does those easy link adjustment work? Do I need to use any tools to make the
adjustment? |

I have a daytona. It's easy to remove links from the bracelet with a very small screwdriver. There is also the extension that can make the bracelet a few millimeters bigger. Do you need to make it smaller or larger?

You can't make the bracelet smaller using the extension. The extension only makes it a little bigger - it's good for hot days to give a little extra room.
I would take it somewhere reputable and get it resized. I resized my own after watching a youtube video and buying a set of small screwdrivers. It is very easy to do, but most people would probably just bring it somewhere. It will only take a couple minutes. |

See the attached picture of the extension. Grab the links located above the 12 o'clock in one hand the and clasp in the other hand and pull. The extension will release.

Maybe one bit off advice : Try to adjust the bracelet by taking out links and avoid to keep the setting with \\\"quick half link \\\" short . You will find as you keep the link folded in the clasp will leave a mark in the center of the first link .

Thanks for your picture!! Is AD supposed to know how the extension work? I ask them last weekend and they have no idea what I am talking about. The only way they know is to 1) remove/add link or 2) do the minor adjustment with those three positions on the clasp ( but they have to use special tools to do it, is it true?) |

I try to pull it out a few times, but it does not move at all, I am afraid if I continue to pull it with strength, I may break it. |

You should be able to unlock it while wearing it and just putting your fingernail/finger under the back side of the clasp and pushing the other end of the clasp with your thumb...
It takes a bit of technique.. As far as adjusting the micro adjustment, it's done using a simple spring-bar tool.........I would find another Dealer....preferably one with a watchmaker on staff.........

First...make sure that it's not already extended, or that it is in fact still installed... It's just a link that folds in half and has a j-slot cut in one side that hooks around a spring-bar..
With the watch on, you pull on the backside of the clasp, the same way that you would pull on the flip-lock to unlock it... pull the back of the clasp away from your wrist as far as you can.......... then with your thumb pushing the other end of the clasp, the j-slot should come unhooked from the spring-bar and t will unfold........
