The story behind my grail..TT GMT Master (II) on Jubilee bracelet
When I was in middle school, in the 6th grade, I joined the band. The band director wore a 1675 TT GMT Master on a jubilee bracelet. I was gifted with the ability to talk to people, and somehow I was able to talk my way into wearing a Rolex watch for the class period. Before this, I was never interested in watches really, but I discovered a love for Rolex. My first Rolex was not the TT GMT that I fell in love with, but a similar TT black dial Submariner. About 6 years down the road, I started the flipping of the watches. After I went through a few Rolex watches, I finally came into a deal I was not going to let get away. Thanks to my good friend, Steve Mulholland, I was able to aquire a much newer version of the watch that started my love for Rolex, my grail, an "E" 16713 TT GMT Master II on a Jubilee bracelet, complete with both boxes, hangtags, papers, and booklets.

Great story. You must be quite the salesman to have talked your teacher into letting you wear the Rolex. I like your watch very much. I have the 116710 in SS and really love it. I kind of think the Crown and dial printing would have looked nice in SS instead of white on mine just as your crown and writing are gold. That is the only improvement I can think of that my watch could use.

That's the watch I have. I have no real desire for any other. I am tempted by a pepsi every now and then though.
You have super taste! Congratulations.

Same Rolex as mine but I've got the TT Oyster bracelet! That watch just sings to me. Well done, awesome story.
