After a couple of years of thinking about it i went out and got an AP ROC and have to say i'm very happy with it. It's a beautiful watch and exactly what i was after, of course it's an expensive watch but for me the best chrono out of the 40mm steel sports.

ROO checking in. Great watch, no complaints aside from the bezel picking up small nicks (to be expected). I got rid of two Daytonas and some other stuff before it and don't regret the move at all. It wears totally different from the Daytona, so try before you buy. No pushdown buttons so the chrono is actually usable. Service costs will be around triple those of Rolex.

It's like every watch, if you nick the bezel it'll be down to the depth of the dings, if they're shallow then the chamfer can be increased to cover it, if it's deep then there isn't any material there to hide it, same as every other watch it's either live with it or replace the bezel.
If you do get one then remember it's more of a dressy sports watch than an actual sports watch, i tend to keep this under the sleeve and protected, so hopefully no chances of dings happening.

Yep same as above. They can be polished but if the dings are too deep, no can do. I have a few dings here and there.....whatever. I'll just get a new bezel if they bother me later on. Last time I checked, a new bezel wasn't too cheap, but on this watch, what is?
