Does anyone know if a domed crystal like the one on the 233 would fit on a 312? They are both 1950 cases, but I don't know if the crystals would be interchangable.

No, it sure won't. Tight tolerances. You probably wouldn't want it anyway. The domed crystal on the 233 makes up for the thicker case on the 312.

I think the bezels are different on the 312 v 233. I know the case thickness is different. A 270 movement doesn't fit in a 233 case for example.
