The bezel is wider on the YM, so the overall watch appears smaller than the DJ of similar size. Can anyone tell me the band measurement on a midsize YM? That is, what size wrist will it fit. And can it be pin-adjusted on the clasp? Thanks!

I wouldn't say it's much thinner than the Sub but the rounded lugs (I think it's called the lugs) does make it sit much "smoother" on your wrist.

Interesting watch.

Just curious, why is the Yachtmaster less popular (may be least popular) than many of the other Rolex sports models.

Nonetheless, a very unique watch in the line-up IMO, and generate perhaps a more 'exclusive' feel to the Rolex crowd.

I'm guessing here, but it might be less popular because of the premium you pay for the platinum bits over the all SS that a Sub or GMT might have.

I do love the rounded edges of the case.

I have to stop looking at these YMs or I may not be able to control myself.

Don't get the mid-size. It's too small and will suffer in re-sale / trade-in value if you ever decide to get rid of it.
