Craving BLUESY all over again - should I flip PLATTY for it?

Hi guys,

Yes, that's right........want my beloved BLUE beauty all over again and there's only ONE way I can get it - one of my 4 watches has to go.......and it can only be the "high maintenance" SS/Pt. YM.

What say you guys? A little help and good advice would be welcome!!

Thanks - JJ

Please think and vote - cheers!!

JJ my friend- ARE YOU MAD??!!

Please keep the yacht-Master. Do you remember the last bluesy you had? You said it brought you nothing but bad luck. Don't start 2010 like that. The Yacht-Master is sooooo comfy!

Wait til Jocke gets hold of this thread!

I vote for bluesy. You previously had one and are longing for it...the second time's a charm!

Good luck with your decision!

Oh Buddy, This is so hard for me as it's hard for you. I was thinking... you already have a Normal SS Sub. I know the bluesy is a GREAT and AMAZING WATCH. Why don't you sell the SS Sub?

EDIT: I just saw the Replacement of the Plat Bezel... I think it's better to let it go... But THE DECISION IS YOURS! We will support that decision.

I know, I know...........but maybe that was all BS!! Who knows? Haven't had very good luck with my health (my eyes and some dental bills) since I sold my other Blue Sub.......so not sure what the hell's happening.

That's what I remember about JJ's last Bluesy. Surely you wouldn't want that whole episode again?

aha!!

I guess I'd swop then simply because I wouldn't want a watch that I was almost too scared to enjoy wearing.

Yes but if you're getting the updated SuperCase/Max-Dial 116613 version you don't want to replace the ceramic bezel either

I voted to hang on to the Platty. With the TT GMT, another TT would be redundant IMO.

Good point, but I was thinking more along the lines of the older 16613.

is that (only) one thousand dollars?

I'm sure I've heard banter that the current ceramic's aren't that far away??

if that IS the case I'd keep the YM!

ey JJ,
Please do not leave our Yacht-club.
How many scratches you have on your bezel now at this moment?
Probably none, after having it a while.
So do not go out from a worse-case scenario

I voted it's up to you, JJ. But I also know how much you love Bluesy, so I can see why you want to do it. If I was going to place a wager, I'd bet you'll have another Blue Sub before too much longer.

And thanks for the tip on the "high maintenance" Platty. I did not know that.

I disagree. The TT Blue Sub and TT GMT look a lot different. Other than the two tone part, there's not much about them that's the same. Outside of being Rolex's, of course.
