Rolex for all occasions?

I wouldn't say paranoia, although I do feel self-conscious when I wear my LV to work. For one, my account managers know how much I make and one of them joked about how can I afford my camera equipment (Nikon D200 w/ several pro lenses) at the company picnic. I'm not sure what he would say if he ever noticed that I had a Rolex. The second thing is that I work for a business that is client-base on an hourly basis. So a client may feel that they are paying too much if their IT guy is sporting a Rolex.

Outside of work, I am proud to wear my LV. I guess the fact that it is a green bezel and stainless steel, the name Rolex doesn't come to mind. And no one has commented on my watch besides jewelery store people. Although I may have to revert back to my Tissot if people start noticing that I am wearing a Rolex at work.

For one thing, I definitly would have a hard time wearing a TT blue sub to work. That thing is too well recognized and it does stand out a lot. Although I would love to have one for the evenings and weekends. :)
