It looks that way because it's overpolished. As for authenticity, can't really tell.

Looks genuine, clasp ref is for a ladies DJ President band, now the ref for the end links 68B I don't have any info on, may need Stan the Band man to jump in :-)

...and as Renato pointed out, the crown on the buckle is a result of a lot of polishing.
