Am I The Only One??
....That's not head over heels for the 339??
Now I love the 203. It's probably my favorite Panerai, even over the 127. It's just the ceramic/PVD/composite styled watches don't do it for me. This said, I'd never pay the price for a 339, let alone the premium that's apprarently going to be had... Anybody else???.. This is only my humble opinion....

I love it, except for the solid case back.

I love how this watch looks, but would prefer it in SS (PVD/DLC or not) with a display back
I'm not a fan of ceramic or titanium cases. Cheers

I love 339. But for sure I can't afford it. Or I don't want to spend my money for 16k watch.

I like the idea of an in-house P2002 and I don't sort of mind the case.
but I DON'T LIKE THE PRICE.

I like it, but don't LOVE it like a lot of others. I'd like it more if it was a luminor case.

Ditto - I would rather pick up a 249 and 005 to add to my collection

Bryan, I certainly understand the DNA of the 339, but like you it's not knocking me down.
The 29 on the otherhand caught my eye. |

339 is one of the best releases in a while.47mm black ceramic rad case with brown dial will be a killer !! I have a 292J an thats magificent and I think the 339 is going to beat it by quite a margin.

I believe from what I undestand the 292 case is solid ceramic, whereas the composite for the 339 is an aluminium base with a very hard coating and hence it is a composite of the two. The process is a new process for Panerai and therefore not much known about it, however, the effect is I believe a material that is harder even than ceramic.
The 339 for me looks nice in the pictures, however, to get the full effect of the colour you will need to see it in the flesh as the dark brown finish is difficult to photograph and probably changes in different lights.

I love it, but it would be big for me at 47mm.
I wish Panerai would do something like this in 47mm for us "tiny" people. But, they won't listen to me. Why should they?

IMO the 339 is a real beauty in my eyes but it still doesn't change my preference for a lum or 1950 case over the rad

I like the 339, but maybe not heads over heels about it, but I would prefer it in a 1950 case, and with a display back...
I do love the strap extremely, however. |
