He wasn´t playing so much in Real Madrid since their new manager Capello, went to the club. So, what better place to spend all these money and, who knows, maybe Victoria will be in the movies industry after all....

I heard he is coming to the US to relax since competition in the US is not as fierce.... Not sure how much of that is true.

It is true, compared to the championships in Europe. Spain is one of the toughest and even more is Champions League...

Are you aware of the fact that what you see is 80% plastic? An inflatable doll is much cheaper and doesn't go out shopping

The threw a bunch of cash at Pele years ago to bring soccer to the US. Never took off.
A few years ago the USA women did real well and that was going to be the next wave. Interest peaked then faded. Now Beckham. Hey, it's not my money and if someone is dumb enough to pay him, good for him.. The USA is all about the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. If a sport is not selling out 60k seat stadiums, its not happening and it's not here and it won't. Yes I know how HUGE soccer (football) is worldwide amd I mean no disrespect. I need more action than a 3 hour match that ends in a 1-1 tie. BTW.... any Superbowl predictions? - A hurting Miami Dolphins fan |

I agree with Padi. Good riddence to the pair of them. They used to live about 2 miles from me and were a little eccentric then (about 3 or 4 years back). They used to visit the local McDonalds here a lot (no doubt to get David his Happy Meals)
In some ways I can't help thinking good for him. Some stupid tosser in America is paying millions for a player well past his best. His best years were here in Manchester without a doubt. its a bit like a footballers pension salary. No doubt they will realise how bad a player he has become and try and cancel the contract within the next 18 months. I think LA is the perfect place for the Beckhams. Most of the nutjobs find their way to the "vanity mecca" eventually. |

Its great to think about the entire Beckham clan will be over the other side of the Atlantic. And another group of so called plebes gone over the pond hope they stay there.America deserves them, and this is what his wages amount to,plus tips and freebies of course: But the real truth why they want to go. This is why the stick insect wife wants him over there, his football form is really starting to decline now. So packing him off to the jolly US of A. Where they can just about kick a ball and really know sod all about football,it will make him look like a soccer god again. And of course America is very rich picking for the stick insect too. It's the USA thing Beckham is just a big money advert brand. They are even now preparing to pay Tony Blair a fortune to stand and talk bol#x on the "lecture circuit". Don't forget they paid to listen to Ms Booth,Marget Thatcher and elected Dubbya TWICE. Beckhams pittance wages. £128m over 5 years. £25.6m a year £492,307 per week £70,329 per day £2,930 per hour £48 per minute 81p per second For trying to kicking a ball around a pitch, and being a complete and utter Pratt.

The tragedy of Mrs Beckham is she used to be rather attractive, I think these days shes been taking advice off Michael Jacksons surgeon. Nothing more than "tits on a stick" now, and they are fake too... As opposed to standing and talking bol#x in parliament. |

Seriously, how do you think it feels being a Dolphins fan in the UK. 23 years I've watched, listened and hoped. I stay up sometimes until 5am to watch them piss away a game in the last few minutes most weeks. Saban is a bit of a sissy quitting after two years for the money in college football. He never saw the job through. No coach and an average QB (sigh) again in Miami... Normal year then.. |
