I had my DSSD now for a couple of months and it enjoys way more wrist time than any of my other watches. Only time I wear something else is when I have to suit up for formal meetings.

Recent owner lured into buying one and loving ownership.
Nothing bad to report here.
Just make sure you get it fitted right in the shop , not too loose or it will feel awful.
Enjoy your day...

I was a little bit scared about its size. Went to the official dealer and looked at it - "my God, this thing is huge", I thought, being accustomed to my GMT and Explorer I.
A week passed and I tryed a second time. "Are you sure you don't want to try another model?" asked the manager, "I think you may find it too big...". "No", said I valorously, "may I try it on my wrist?".
What a difference, in a moment the watch ceased to be a giant a became part of my anatomy - I never took it out (except for sleeping), since then.
And from that day on we live happily together.

Other than not really being suited to shirt cuffs, EVERYTHING else is PERFECT!

Had mine about 1 year now. Totally love it!
It's such a well made watch and for me has the styling of a bygone era
I've been to the beach, scuba diving with it many times - never ever had condensation under the crystal or any problems with it

I traded my Sub for the DSSD and I love it. It's always on my wrist. I actually think it looks small now.

It's the only watch I've worn for a month now, since I got it.

And mine fits under my shirt cuffs no problem :)

Nothing else gets any wrist time now. All the other watches are cowering in a drawer, afraid to come out.

2 negatives, the bezel moves too easily, my pearl is never at the same place at the end of the day from the start of the day.

Second thing, I caught myself today feeling a bit self-conscious as I realized how long I had been fiddling with, and generally enjoying, my DSSD while at work today.

I even reset the time, just to play with it, maybe off 10 seconds. I looked around and no one was watching, but I had to laugh at myself. I had to look silly staring at my watch much longer than necessary to tell the time.
