14060M question

Hi guys,

Will the 14060M's reference number (at the 12 o'clock position between the lugs) be actually 14060M or merely 14060?

As usual, I'm grateful for y'all...

Good question, but not sure. By sheer logic, I think the "M" should be there too!!

Bear in mind that this one will NOT have the letter "T" as it does come with lug holes. Only the newer ones which come without the lug holes, have the letter "T" after the model number.

I would love to give you answer but as my watch is new (still like new) with no scratches I have no intention of removing the bracelet.

I do think that it will have the M on it as it appears on everything else.

Regards Aaron

The M should be there it just indicates it has the newer slightly modified movement Cal 3130 from around 2001 on, instead of the former model with the cal 3000.

Thanks JJ, Padi and AFJ. I'm looking at a P___ serial number watch, that the seller says is a 14060M. They have no receipts or papers aside from a sub owner's booklet...

Is it bad form to bring a toothpick along and pop the bracelet off?

Tony it wouldn't bother me at all if I were the seller. The buyer has every right to satisfy himself/herself the watch is as stated and to verify the serial number.

An honest seller has nothing to hide.

I haven't asked them about removing the bracelet, but in lieu of the papers, I'll ask them before riding out to meet them. That way they can just say "no" and save me the trip.

If he's credible, he wouldn't have anything to worry about.
