Does any of this seem out of line? (Daytona W/BIN)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1
I emailed the seller and asked for some better photos, I can't stand it when sellers elect to use the ebay free photo hosting, it sucks. It'd be nice if the seller had some current feedback, those kind of gaps scare me a bit, probably has multiple accounts and jumps around depending on which one has the best feedback. Any thoughts? The price seems right for an '09. |

Reasonable price for an 2008 M series, however, payment terms unacceptable for any method other than a local face to face pick-up. All eBay and PayPal buyer protection is out the window with the payment terms specified.

90 Days no Feedback. This is a one sign to stay away. I would.
And for a $9K watch I'd presume he'd had enough guts to cough up an extra buck to Supersize the photos at the very least. Even local sale - got to be done with someone who knows the brand. OK. I'll say it - someone who knows Rolex. |

Good input guys, a general question that applies to this case, when it really comes down to it how often do you see:
Fake watch, authentic box/documents? (shot in a way you can't compare serial numbers) Stolen photos? Avoiding the obvious is easy (no box/papers no sale) but when you get into a more complicated sale is it just wiser to stick with a reputable seller and pay a little more? The lure is there; save a $1000 over what most are asking, but if saving that $1K is really throwing away $9K.... I guess I answered my own question, but as buyers we all see the draw, how do you separate yourself from being a victim? |

I have never seen a tag that spells out the model like in those pics... Maybe I am missing something.

I would never bid on this auction, but the watch and accessories look genuine IMO.

It looks good he sold a car in 07 yet I would only do a face to face with this one.
