TT Mid-Size YM Serti

OK - I am confused. Is there a TT Mid-Size YM w/Serti Dial? If so, why would it be less expensive than the other YMs? I thought the serti dials cost more. I got these prices from the price list that someone posted in a different thread. Also, what is the difference between the $8K mens and $7.9K ladies YM 35mm?

168622 7,800.00 Yacht Master 35mm (steel/plat)
168623 8,000.00 mens, $7,900-ladies Yacht Master 35mm (steel/18k)
168623 6,975.00 TT Mid-Size Yachtmaster Serti Dial

Thanks

I just joined the forum to ask the same questions and was able to find this thread with a search. I assume the serti model reference is a typo somehow.

But what is the difference between a mens and ladies midsize? I 'm getting ready to buy from a local dealer that will honor what I assume is the old price of $6,975.00 because it has been in inventory with a bit of a discount on top of that. It is a 168623 TT with blue dial.

Is it mens or ladies???

Never heard of a YM with a Serti dial!!

Rolex categorises TWO kinds of MID-SIZE models.

35 mm for the YM.

31 mm for the DJ.

Cheers - JJ

The 168623 is considered a mens mid-size TT Yacht-Master. It does come in a serti dial as a special order @ about $13K. A serti dial is a MOP dial w/diamonds and either sapphire or rubys. There are also the regular dials of steel, champagne, and blue. The retail for these right now is $8K.

I purchased the mid-size with the steel dial. Here is a picture of how it looks on a ladies arm. It may be too small for a man with large arms. Picture of 40mm and 35mm to compare the difference.

Thanks for all the quick replies! I am very familiar with the sizes as I own a DJ also. I guess what we have determined is the line item for serti on the unofficial new price list references an incorrect price that is too low.

No one seems to be aware of the mens vs. ladies difference of $100 so that line item may also be a bit incorrect. That is what I was really curious about. Thanks again and I will probably pull the trigger on this purchase today as I assume with price increase anything below $6900.00 is a decent deal for new from US AD.
