We share a love of diving and several other things, and we are members of the same organizations. We actually spent a few days together.

I can go modern or vintage on this thread. This is where I like to play. How about vintage?
'65 Speedy for space: '65 5512 for sea: '64 GMT (now sold) for air: '58 Explorer for high on land: A mix of modern, as deep as the DSSD can go:

You should pick up a '66 Speedy 105-012 to complement your '67 145-012. This is the actual Moon Watch, or so I was told by another dive buddy.

Yes I debated between the 105.012 and the 145.012 and settled on mine. There is differing opinions but maybe you know something I don't... You seem to have some pretty cool dive buddies haha! I'd love to have a 105.003 like yours too. How did the Daytona work out on your dive? A He Valve wasn't necessary? |

Yes, I know something and someone. I kept reading how nobody knows for sure which watch was the first watch worn on the Moon except the guy who wore it so I asked him. He told me it was the same Speedy that flew on Gemini in 1966.
The submersible is pressurized to one atmosphere. The Daytona was fine. I needed a chronograph but it gets really damp inside the sub so a Speedy was out of the question. I had a WW-II era Breitling chrono. It was really finicky and not water resistant.
