A bird whisper in my ear>>>>>>
Rolex was not happy with the green color at the bezel insert. The final relese will be darker.
I guess that will be a good thing if it are closer to the dial. Who was the guy that told me it's hard to get a decent macroshot in Basel?

Please tell that bird that a Sub with the green gold dial and a black ceramic bezel may well be a popular model. Rolex should start making that ASAP

Hopefully, they make the hands longer on the new Explorer as well!

That bird is smart. Darkening the green ceramic bezel would be step in the right direction.

Hey Jocke great shot of that LV. By the way, as you change your perspective from the watch, did the dial get lighter or darker as the light hit it from different angles? Just curious...

I wonder whether the delays in the all-green Sub production would affect the 116610 delivery dates to ADs? Would Rolex ship the green & the black Subs together, or they start off with the black one, and they deliver the green ones when they're ready?

Ok
Measure twice, cut once. So was Rolex in such a hurry to push out the new watch for BaselWorld that they let a color they didn't like get put in the display case at the show? That would be some poor planning on the part of Rolex, not sure I believe that. Regardless, I would like to see the bezel be a deeper green also. Still not sure about that dial.

This is mystefying to me...one of the most successful watch companies in the world cannot get a color tint right - find the right set of hands - or decide re: the expy II launch until the last minute?

A different perspective
Hey Jocke, I don't want to rain on your parade, but I think you can see it more clearly here... (btw, I had to REDUCE my resolution down to about 10% of original size to fir within TRF image restrictions... ). I'll try and stitch them together here...
