Hi Mark,

Thanks for the nice words. Yes, the accuracy is truly amazing.

On the wrist, virtually ZERO deviation. When placed on the dresser crown UP, could lose half a second overnight; but if placed crown DOWN, tends to lose a bit more.

On the wrist is the best way to wear this watch!!

Love the Cellinis, but don't think I'll ever buy one. You'd be surprised to learn that although I'm NOT a strap person, I would much prefer the Cellini in YG on a nice croc strap. I like the very FLAT dressy models.

Thanks, Ken..........you won't regret it. It is such a good looking watch, you have to see it for real to know what I'm talking about.

JJ, check your clasp on your bracelet, on the side of the flip lock you still have some rolex plastic on it.. maybe you want it there?

I don't know which part you're referring to, but I'm actually wearing the watch right now and see no plastic at all.

Have had this watch since Sept. 09. Granted, it did take me a whole week to source out the millions of protective pieces, but I did finally get them all off!!

Fantastic pics.... Would you say that liking the TT is instinctual, as in, you like it or you don't, or can you grow to like it?

Good question, actually...........I never thought of it that way!!

Personally, I've always loved TT watches...........my very first DJ being a TT one purchased way back in Oct. 1980.

There is some charm about the way the Yellow Gold contrasts with the steel to give you a subtle and yet very classy kinda "BLING"!!

You need to check it out for yourself at your local AD........maybe take your wife or a girlfriend along for a second opinion and see how it goes.

You never know - you may start to love it.

Good luck - JJ

Did you look at the new sub as well? I am stuck between the new black TT Sub (not so crazy about the new blue) or the TT GMT. I say stuck but really it will be a few years before I can pull off another purchase... still a guy can dream..

Did you mean like this, 18k and 904l Actually, the white gold sub really interests me, but is way over my budget.

I thought all gold or platinum was purer class?

Or what about a Rolex with sheepskin mixed with 904L?

I love this watch. It's the best looking TT they have. I also love the TT Daytona with black dial.

Wear it well!

If you knew what I know about that watch's association with all that's vile, evil and corrupt.............you'd take it off the screen, buddy!!

That watch is the epitome of pure, unadulterated FILTH!! A watch which has led to the actual burning alive of young innocent girls and first degree murder!!

If I remember right JJ, your dislike (hatred?) for gold Rados is because of certain archaic marriage customs in Iran?

Anyway, I agree with your original post - the TT GMT II ceramic is a truly handsome watch!

Not Iran, my friend...........but back home in India when the above RADO Diastar (for some reason the most popular of them all because of the GOLD look) had to be given by the father of the bride to his to be son-in-law as ONE of the many gifts...........as a sort of "bribe" to marry his daughter.

In many instances, if the gifts were not sufficient, the in-laws would burn the girl alive!! Many cases were reported and it was pretty rampant at one point until the Government clamped down.

The "dowry" system, however, still prevails today!!

Yes, awful though it may be, it's still being practiced here in Singapore as well as Malaysia! Luckily only by a minority of Indian families...
